Digital Protocols

Universal Service Dental Lab accepts files from all major intraoral scanners. Locate your preferred scanner in the list below and follow the provided protocols to submit your case to our lab.

iTero®

• After files have been submitted to iTero, Universal Service Dental Lab will print models as needed and complete final fabrication of your restoration.
• You can select Universal Service Dental Lab as your laboratory with your scanner by selecting “FIND A LABORATORY” or by visiting Itero at: https://www.itero.com/en-us.

3Shape TRIOS®

• Visit https://portal.3shapecommunicate.com/#/login.
• When logged in to your account, search for Universal Service Dental Lab and  “connect” to our lab. In the future, you will now be able to select us to send your files.

Sirona CEREC®

• When logged in to your CEREC Connect account, select “MY CEREC CONNECT” locate Universal Service Dental Lab in the Company Name box, check the box and click ADD.  Now sending a case is easy… just select Universal Service Dental Lab from your list.

Carestream

• With your scanner, select us as your lab by selecting “Carestream Connect” and searching for Universal Service Dental Lab.  Once we are selected as your lab, .stl file scans can then be easily sent to us.

• Log into meditlink.com with the administrator account
• Go to Partners on the left pane
• Search for Universal Service Dental Lab and click the Request Partnership button. You’ll see that the lab has been added to the My Partner List with the status reflected as Partnership Pending
